OSI Systems’ Security Division has commenced operations in Uruguay in collaboration with the country’s Ministry of Economics and Finance.
The new project is expected to enhance security and efficiency at Uruguay’s ports and borders through advanced customs screening applications.

According to an announcement, the company is utilising the EAGLE T60 high-energy, trailer-mounted vehicle inspection systems.
This system performs security screening and remote image analysis utilising its proprietary CertScan integration platform.
OSI Systems will also provide ongoing management training and maintenance, service and support.
Deepak Chopra, CEO, remarked: “We are excited to begin the operational phase and look forward to supporting Uruguay’s customs and border security activity.
