It works though it can be finicky. You need to be patient and you need to have a good sense of humor when attempting to translate the broken Chinese-Engrish. 🙂 I got a pretty good laugh from the “instructions”. You may as well read them for the laugh and resort to common sense and your own technical savvy for actually how to use the device. For Less than $20 delivered to my door, I think it’s great. I bought it for a female friend who suspects her male roommate has hidden cameras in her room. She has no clue how to use use it and she is afraid of getting caught in the act, though she is the victim, so I only was able to test it on my own video surveillance equipment and it did in fact work very well in spotting my cams, though they are in plain sight.
