Excellent Pistol Safe,
This is a fine product, and I feel much better for having it in my house. I did a lot of research into biometric safes before deciding of the Inprint fingerprint safe. I wanted a quick accesses safe for my handgun, and the Inprint product seems to be the only one on the market that is worth relying on. After reading (a lot) of reviews for other handgun safes on Amazon and other sites on the web this is the one I decided on. The Barska safe is almost a hundred dollars cheaper, but after reading one review where the reviewer talked about how both of his kids were able to open the safe if he did not wipe the fingerprint sensor clean with an alcohol swab after using it, I knew I did not want that thing in my house! This is worth the money. I do not have kids of my own, but my two nieces do visit my house frequently, and (kids being kids) I am sure it is only a matter of time before they rummage through my bedroom. Also now I have a lot more peace of mind that if my neighborhood kids do break into my house at least they won’t hurt themselves (or someone else) with a firearm. I think that if you own guns you have moral obligation to keep them locked up. Not to mention the fact that you are open to criminal prosecution if someone is hurt with your weapon.
Would this safe stop a determined thief with a pry bar? Probably. To be sure this is not the most heavy duty safe in the world, but it does seem to be a solidly built item. If I went at it with a hammer and pry bar I could probably get it open, but it would take some time, and would make a lot of noise. If you are looking for a theft, or fireproof safe look elsewhere. You just have to be realistic about what you expect from a product like this
It did take me about half an hour to master the process of enrolling fingerprints into the memory on this safe. You have to press your finger very flat into the sensor before you swipe your finger, but once you get used to the motion it will become second nature.
I did not end up buying my safe from Amazon, but I did get it from the Amazon vendor Xfighterdefense. As of the time of this review there is no feedback on this seller, but after seeing that buying direct from the sellers website I could get the accessories for this product and save the price of the shipping it seemed like a no-brainer. This was a good choice. I highly recommend this seller. Very top notch customer service. Once again, I highly recommend this seller.

The safe is the fastest on the market i could find. I don’t have to remember a code if i need access in a hurry. and the kids can’t just enter the garage door code and get in… only my and my wifes finger print works!
If every gun owner had one of these they would rest easier.
and if you want to make it really fast buy the A/C adaptor. It goes from opening in about 2 seconds to almost instant.

I had to review this product, because there aren’t that many, and I want others to buy this thing. I’m a police officer and weapon safety at home is paramount to me. I purchased this safe after reading a few reviews, and couldn’t be happier with it. The fingerprint reader is reliable and accurate. I loaded both of my index fingers and my wife’s index fingers. I have tested it using my other fingers, and other people’s fingers, and it never opens. This safe does, however, ALWAYS open when my wife or I swipes our fingers. Definite pluses are the ability to bolt it to the floor and the external power source. I would recommend the power source, as changing the battery out all the time would be a bit annoying. I definitely recommend this product!
